Founded in 1970 by Dr. Rufino L. Macagba Jr. to support the growing Lorma Hospital, LORMA Colleges has evolved from a small nursing school into one of Northern Luzon’s leading institutions for higher learning. Inspired by its founders, Dr. Rufino N. Macagba Sr. and Dra. Crispina Lorenzana-Macagba, LORMA—named after LORenzana and MAcagba—has become a recognized center of academic excellence, particularly in healthcare and technology education. It has produced numerous board topnotchers in various health science courses and was the first institution in Region 1 designated by CHED as a Center of Development for Excellence in Information Technology (CODE-IT).
Today, LORMA Colleges has two campuses in San Fernando and San Juan, offering programs from Basic & Inclusive education to graduate studies. Guided by its mission of competency, leadership, and Christian social concern, LORMA Colleges continues to shape professionals committed to service, innovation, and community upliftment.
