The first-ever Drum Circle to celebrate Wellbeing Month. facilitated by Drum Circle Philippines. April 26, 2024. Lorma NSTP Student Volunteers Brave Rainy Weather for International Coastal Clean-up Day
On September 21, 2024, in celebration of International Coastal Clean-Up Day, over 60 Lorma NSTP student volunteers braved the rain at Carlatan Beach in San Fernando, La Union. Originally planned for Urbiztondo Beach, the event showcased the students' unwavering commitment to preserving coastal areas. Their efforts not only aligned with the National Service Training Program’s goals of civic responsibility but also supported Sustainable Development Goal 14, which focuses on protecting marine ecosystems. Despite the weather cutting the activity short, it served as a powerful reminder of the importance of environmental stewardship.
